Hello, I am Asena PERÇİN BAHADIR, Dietitian and Food Engineer. I graduated from Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal Food Engineering Department in 2011 and then completed my master's degree at the same university. My interest in nutrition encouraged me to go back to university years later and I graduated from the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at 19 Mayıs University.  The training I received had a calorie-based perspective and this did not suit my logic. I met functional medicine dietitian at a time when I continued to read and search. I was satisfied with the root cause analysis and holistic perspective of functional medicine. After an intensive training from the Functional Medicine Academy, I became a functional medicine dietitian.

I would also like to talk about my professional life. After working as a Food Engineer in a food analysis laboratory serving food safety for 10 years, I resigned and opened my own diet clinic. Of course, I did not give up my Food Engineer identity, because if I had not received training in that field, I would have felt incomplete. We started the sale of organic and aflatoxin-free nuts, dried fruits and spices via e-commerce by establishing the Nontoxinlife brand. We have been serving in this field since 2020.

In our clinic, we provide face-to-face and online services with personalized sustainable diet programs in areas such as obesity treatment, nutritional therapy in chronic and autoimmune diseases with a holistic perspective, elimination diet, ketogenic diet, intermittent fasting, histamine diet, SIBO diet.
