Psy. İpek Selin Günhan

Clinical Psychologist İpek Selin Günhan graduated from Bilkent University, Department of Psychology as an honor student. He spent a period of his education as an exchange student at the University of Groningen, Netherlands. During her undergraduate education, she worked as a research assistant at the Visual Perception and Attention Laboratory within the National Magnetic Resonance Research Center (UMRAM) and at Bilkent University Developmental Psychology Research Center. He completed his undergraduate thesis titled "Genetic and Environmental Foundations of Cognition: The Relationship between IQ and Working Memory in Adolescent and Young Adult Twins" at UMRAM Brain Development and Psychosis Research Laboratory. She was a trainee psychologist at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine Hospitals Psychiatry Service.

She received her specialization in Clinical Psychology from Başkent University with her thesis titled “Examination of Relationship and Partner Obsessions in Borderline Personality Organization from the Perspective of Object Relations”. She continued her research and psychotherapy activities at Baskent University Stress Management Application and Research Center. She worked as a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist at Madalyon Psychiatry Center Ankara Adult Department in 2021 and 2022.

Currently, she works as a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist at Bilkent University, and simultaneously gives lectures at Bilkent University Psychology Department. Besides, she continues her psychotherapy activities in Ankara.

Her therapeutic approach is psychodynamic psychotherapies she. She is fluent in English she. She is a member of the Turkish Psychological Association.
