Kiss. Dr. WHO IS Kadir YILDIRIM?

I was born in Samsun in 1983. I completed my primary, secondary and high school education in Samsun. I graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 2009 and received general surgery specialization training at Samsun Training and Research Hospital.

After working as a general surgery specialist at Muş Varto State Hospital and Çarşamba State Hospital, I worked at Samsun LIV Hospital between June 2017 and 2019. I have been working at VM Medicalpark Samsun hospital since February 2019.

From the first years I stepped into general surgery, during my assistant years, I was especially interested in bariatric surgery. Apart from obesity surgery, diabetes surgery (sugar surgery), laparoscopic and oncological surgery (cancer surgery), gall bladder, goiter surgeries, breast surgery, hernia surgery, anal region diseases are my other fields of study.

Memberships I am affiliated with: Turkish Association of Surgery(UCD), Turkish Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (BMCD), Turkish Obesity Association.

I have more than twenty articles published in international peer-reviewed journals and scientific studies published in proceedings books presented in more than one international meeting.

I am currently progressing on the path of academics and I am a doctoral faculty member at Istinye University.

Apart from my intensive medical work, I like swimming, reading and playing football. I am married and have two children.
