Opr. Dr. Kerim Ünal

Kerim Ünal was born in Burdur in 1985. After graduating from Adem Tolunay Science High School in 2003, he started at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine. After graduating in 2009, he worked as a physician in the Istanbul 112 team. In 2010-2016, he completed his specialization training in the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Akdeniz University. He worked together with Prof Dr Ömer Özkan and Prof Dr Özlenen Özkan in 5 face transplants and 2 arm transplant surgeries, including Turkey's first face and arm transplant surgery. He worked at Adıyaman Training and Research Hospital between 2016-2018. He gave lectures in the field of plastic surgery at Adıyaman University Faculty of Medicine. Kerim Ünal, who has countless experiences in microsurgery, has performed major surgeries that have not been performed before in Adıyaman. He won the first prize in the assistant competition in 2011 and in the specialization competition in 2015 at the National Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Congresses. He has 3 domestic and 8 international publications. In 2017, he received advanced training in rhinoplasty in the fellowship program with Barış Çakır. In 2018, she attended the rhinoplasty course organized by Teoman Doğan. Her areas of interest are plastic surgery procedures, nose, breast, abdominal aesthetics, liposuction, body shaping, facial rejuvenation, filling, botox, prp, hand incisions, facial traumas, open wounds, burns and microsurgery.
