Melike Ak

Melike Ak, who is a Specialist Psychologist and Family Counselor, was born in Izmir. She completed her high school education at Suphi Koyuncuoğlu High School.

She pursued her undergraduate studies in the Psychology department at Istanbul Kültür University. After completing her Pedagogical Formation Training at Dokuz Eylül University, she continued her education at Ege University, where she successfully completed her Master's degree in Family Counseling. As part of her Master's program, she collaborated with Ege University to conduct a 5-session 'Mastering Parenthood in 3 Steps' family education program.

In addition to her academic achievements, Melike Ak received training in various areas such as CAS (Cognitive Assessment System), Child Assessment and Attention Tests, Family and Couples Therapy, Play Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Approaches to Exam Anxiety and Coping Strategies. She actively participated in various diction, body language, effective communication workshops, and numerous seminars related to mental health. While attending these training sessions, she also volunteered at TEGV (Turkey Education Volunteers Foundation) institutions.

She played a role in both individual and group activities with individuals with special needs at a Private Education and Rehabilitation Center. She conducted Individual Vocational Counseling activities at the High School Guidance Service. At Ege University, she participated in various case presentations, tests, and case evaluations. Professionally, she has provided psychological counseling services both in educational institutions and individually at counseling centers, and she continues to do so.

Melike Ak is proficient in English and is able to provide psychological counseling services in both Turkish and English.
