Assoc. Prof. Osman Kelahmetoğlu

Born in Adana, Dr. Kelahmetoğlu graduated from Adana Boys High School in 1999 and from Gaziantep University Faculty of Medicine in 2005. In 2005, he worked as a research assistant at Samsun Ondokuz Mayıs University, Department of Plastic Surgery. See. Dr. started working as After completing his specialty training, he worked as a plastic surgery specialist at Tarsus State Hospital as a compulsory service obligation between March 2012 and December 2014. During his residency training, he worked as a clinical fellow on “Aesthetic surgery and body shaping” at El Paso Cosmetic Surgery Center in Texas, USA. He was also a clinical observer on “Post-bariatric body shaping surgery” at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pennsylvania, USA. In 2015, he won the international scholarship award of the Turkish Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery and worked as a clinical fellow on "Aesthetic-Reconstructive Breast Surgery and Perforator Flaps" at Gent University in Gent/Belgium for 3 months. In 2016, he won the "Young Plastic Surgeons" scholarship given by the European Society of Plastic Surgery (EURAPS) and in 2017 he worked as a clinical fellow on "Reconstructive Breast Surgery" at the University of Helsinki in Helsinki / Finland. He received the title of Associate Professor in 2018. He has more than 40 national and international scientific articles published so far. He is married and has 1 child.
