Assoc. Prof. Suat Terzi

He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Samsun in 1997. In the same year, he won Uludag University Faculty of Medicine and graduated as a medical doctor in 2003. In the same year, he started his Ear Nose and Throat residency at İzmir Atatürk Training and Research Hospital with the TUS exam. He graduated in 2008 as an Ear Nose and Throat specialist. He completed his compulsory service in Yozgat Sorgun in 2009-2012, started to work in Rize Training and Research Hospital in 2012, served as Assistant Professor, Doctor Faculty, respectively. He received the title of associate professor, he was appointed as the head of the department in 2021. In these years, he performed many high-level operations in the field of Otorhinolaryngology, such as all kinds of functional and aesthetic nose surgery, endoscopic ear surgery, head and neck tumors. By publishing more than 90 publications in international and national journals, it received more than 450 citations to these publications, and with its 14 h-index, it brought the level of scientific academics to the highest level. He participated in many congresses and symposiums in the field of Otorhinolaryngology as a participant and speaker. He received his Acupuncture practice certificate approved by the Ministry of Health from Yıldırım Beyazıt University in 2008. He started to apply traditional Acupuncture practices to his patients by combining them with modern western medicine in the field of Otorhinolaryngology. He has been working at Trabzon Private Imperial Hospital as of April 2022. He is dealing with all otolaryngological diseases and surgeries, especially functional and aesthetic nose surgery, endoscopic ear surgery, head and neck cancer surgery.
