The white coat is a doctor’s most valuable attire, but to earn it and wear it with pride, you must work, study, be curious, research, and dedicate your entire being to your profession starting from your youth and continuing throughout your life. Success is never a coincidence.

I was born into a family from Trabzon. After completing my primary, middle, and high school education in Trabzon, I graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 2000, an institution I am always proud to have attended. Then, I started working as a resident doctor in the Department of Pathology at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine. However, I felt that a specialty where I could communicate with people and witness the happiness of the patients I treated would make me happier, so I took the specialization exam again. After completing my residency at Ankara Etlik Zübeyde Hanım Women's Health Training and Research Hospital, I became a specialist in obstetrics and gynecology in 2008. Witnessing the miracle of birth, supporting a mother while she gives life to her child, being present at a person's first breath, and touching them are, in my opinion, the most proud and sacred moments of the medical profession.

I completed my compulsory service at Ağrı Patnos State Hospital. This period greatly contributed to my professional maturity. I worked with a patient group that I might never encounter again. In a poor and uneducated society where women had no name and were only responsible for bringing children into the world, I struggled to extend a healing hand to my patients. To play a more significant role in women's health and the empowerment of women in society, I decided to continue my career in academia.

I began my academic career in 2011 as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University Faculty of Medicine. I earned the title of Associate Professor in 2015. I contributed to the training of many medical doctors who are respectful and conscientious of their profession, and I trained specialists in obstetrics and gynecology. Seeing the doctors I trained become specialists and academicians is a particular source of pride for me.

In 2018, I started working as the founder of the educational clinic at the Trabzon Kanuni Training and Research Hospital Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic of the Health Sciences University. I contributed to our hospital becoming a Mother-Friendly Hospital and Perinatal Center and to the opening and functioning of many units such as Water Birth, Infertility Clinic, and Pregnant School in our clinic. I earned the title of Professor in 2021. I worked as the head of training at the Health Sciences University Trabzon Kanuni Training and Research Hospital Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic until 2024. To allocate more quality time to my patients and provide better quality service, I decided to work independently from 2024 and opened my clinic within Dr.Neo Clinic.

My efforts and initiatives to work, produce, and be beneficial to the people around me continue to grow each year. Throughout my academic career, I actively participated in organizing numerous congresses, meetings, and courses to share current and new information and contribute to the education of obstetrics and gynecology doctors. I have served as a speaker and session chair at many international and national congresses and symposiums in the fields of infertility, perinatology, oncology, and gynecology. I have over seventy academic articles, most of which are published in prestigious international journals. Besides, I did not neglect to participate in social projects. I took part in numerous projects to raise awareness and educate the public by organizing television and radio programs and writing newspaper columns on current issues related to women's health and the pregnancy process. I will continue to work and produce in every area related to women, striving for the empowerment of women as individuals, their autonomy, and the raising of healthy individuals.
