X-Ray
X-ray refers to a type of electromagnetic radiation with a wavelength shorter than ultraviolet light but longer than gamma rays. X-rays were discovered by the German physicist Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen in 1895 and got their name from the unknown "X" factor.
