One-Session Solution for Weak and Thinning Hair: Regenera Activa
Regenera Activa, also known as cellular hair therapy, is a method based on treating the bald area with your own hair follicles that have been shed. The aim of the treatment is to rejuvenate weakened hair follicles and make them look healthier, obtaining the necessary growth factors and stem cells from our own tissues.
Cellular Hair Therapy
The hair follicles located at the back of the head and behind the ears are genetically programmed not to fall out throughout life. Therefore, for the treatment, 3-4 hair follicles resistant to shedding are painlessly collected under local anesthesia. Subsequently, these collected hair follicles are transformed into a special cell suspension using the Regenera Activa system. With this method, a hair treatment derived from our own hair follicles is prepared, which has a stimulating effect on cell regeneration.
This prepared suspension is then injected into the area where hair loss occurs. The hair growth is encouraged by the effect of hair follicles and stem cells taken from the donor area.
How Long Does the Procedure Take?
A single session is sufficient for Regenera Activa treatment, and the entire process takes about 40 minutes. The procedure does not require shaving, and you can resume your social life immediately after.
When Does the Procedure Show Its Effect?
The effect of the treatment varies from person to person but is generally noticeable after 3-4 months. However, the most significant visual results are seen after 6 months.
Who Is Eligible for Cellular Hair Therapy?
If hair loss is not due to an infection, both men and women can benefit from stem cell treatment. Individuals with thinning or shedding hair due to excessive cosmetic procedures can also benefit from cellular hair therapy. During pregnancy, hormonal changes may cause hair loss. In such cases, it is more suitable to perform the treatment during the breastfeeding period.
Is There Any Pain or Discomfort During the Procedure?
The entire procedure is performed under local anesthesia, so you will not feel any pain or discomfort.
What Is the Duration of the Treatment, and Is It Permanent?
Usually, one session is sufficient to achieve results. The principle of the treatment is to inject hair follicles that are genetically resistant to shedding into the affected areas; therefore, one session is typically enough. A second session may be needed after a few years.
