Thanks to this nutrition, it harmonizes with both our relationship with life and our relationship with our body, and it gives health. The purpose of Sattvic Diet is to stay away from 'Tamasic' foods in particular. Tamasic foods are foods that can bring out dark emotions, bad situations. They are foods that can cause situations such as harming, fighting, fighting, but we know that our body sometimes needs such emotions, Sattvic Diet will help us to use these emotional states in a measured way. Sattvic Diet brings softness and harmony to our relationship with everything around us. It also softens and lightens the body in the same way because it keeps tamasic foods out of the body. Sattvic Diet takes the person away from laziness both mentally and physically and gives a meaning to life.

How should Sattvic Diet be?

  • No animal food is included in the sattvic diet.
  • Foods such as mushrooms, onions and garlic are also absent. The reason for this is that the onion family cuts and distributes the prana in the body, as it has too much antibiotic effect. Foods such as onions and garlic are used in Sattvic Diet only when a disease is felt in the body, that is, when the body needs that food.
  • Fermented food and drinks are also not used, no alcohol. Fermented foods also severely break down the body's pranayama.
  • All vegetables and fruits can be used except the onion family.
  • Legumes, grains, nuts, spices are included in the sattvic diet.
  • Foods such as canned food, coffee, extremely spicy foods, sugar are sattvic, but it is not recommended to use too much because it is not harmful but not beneficial, so it is not recommended to be used excessively in order not to increase laziness and not to deteriorate the lightness of the body.
  • Instead of sugar, foods such as dates, dried apricots, grapes meet your sugar needs.
  • Sattvic Diet may seem scary at first and it may seem very difficult to feed, in order to prevent this, you can switch to Sattvic Diet step by step. By observing the person's own body, he can remove the foods that he does not need from his life and gradually draw a path to his diet. When a person starts this diet, he will definitely be surprised by his body's response. The body will get rid of allergies, acne and at the same time the mind will be clearer, our body will be lighter. Sattvic Diet also has many benefits for sleep.
