Intraductal Papilloma develops in the milk ducts under the nipple. It is a benign breast tumor. It is seen in middle-aged women and women who have just given birth. The most common complaint is nipple discharge. Intraductal Papilloma nipple discharge is brown and yellow in color and has a cloudy consistency. In some cases, these discharges can manifest themselves as bloody. The swab to be taken from the nipple discharge is sent for pathological examination and can be diagnosed in this way. Since this tumor causes serious problems, it needs to be treated by removing it together with the milk ducts, when necessary.

These conditions are small and unlikely to be palpable benign tumors that occur in the breast. These benign tumors can cause bloody discharge due to the formation of blood vessels. It is also composed of fibrous tissue. Due to the reasons for being seen in middle-aged women, it is a rare disease in women until the age of 35 and menopause. In cases where this tumor needs to be removed, the papilloma and milk duct should be removed together. This procedure requires serious surgical intervention. When the risk of cancer is encountered in this removed tissue, the patient should also receive cancer treatment.

In the application areas of audit; In women up to the age of 40; breast ultrasonography, breast elastography; After the age of 40, in addition to these applications, findings can be detected by mammography. In this situation, where the number of patients is very low, patient follow-up for side effects and occurrences unfortunately did not emerge in line with serious findings.

Intraductal Papilloma is benign tumors that are easily encountered in terms of transportation and appearance, as they are located in the milk ducts behind the nipple. The reason why it is frequently seen in middle-aged women is both due to the fact that the mother is in the fertility phase and the periods when the breast tissue starts to renew its own structure in this age range. Although a decision is made about the finding according to the colors of the discharge, the shape and image of the tumor's structure gives information about whether it is a cancerous cell or not in the findings found thanks to the actual breast ultrasound. While creating a cancer angle, the risk factor of this situation is at minimum levels. If necessary, drug therapy is often used instead of surgery for the area cleaned by surgical intervention.
