Panic attack is a feeling of fear and anxiety for no reason. There are some physical and mental symptoms of panic attack. During a panic attack, the person is very scared mentally and may start to tremble physically. These symptoms can be given as examples of mental and physical symptoms. Every person can experience fear and panic, this is a natural situation. However, the fear and panic experienced by a person with a panic attack and a normal person who is not sick are not the same. The most obvious difference between these two is that the person who has a panic attack experiences these feelings for no reason and is seen with a regular frequency.

PANIC ATTACK SYMPTOMS

Panic attacks have many symptoms. Heart palpitations, shortness of breath, tremors, chills, nausea, drowsiness, abdominal pain, dizziness, numbness, smell of death, change in perception and a few other symptoms are the symptoms of a panic attack. It is unclear when a panic attack will occur. It can appear suddenly for no reason. It feels the most severe in 10 minutes and ends in 15 minutes.

SHORTNESS OF BREATH DURING PANIC ATTACK

Panic attack sufferers live with the feeling of having a panic attack at any moment. This is called panic disorder. One of the most common symptoms a panic patient feels is shortness of breath. This shortness of breath is felt so severe that the person feels like he cannot breathe anymore and thinks he will die.

The fear and horror you experience during a panic attack actually causes you to be overwhelmed without realizing it. Because of this suffocation, his left accelerates. The rapid breathing you take to relax makes you feel like you can't breathe. This breathing becomes unsatisfying and you want to breathe more. This is repeated during a panic attack in the form of a vicious circle and causes you to experience or feel short of breath. Psychiatrists also agree that this feeling of shortness of breath is caused by trying to breathe.

Breathing control plays a very important role in panic attack treatment. As soon as you realize that your panic attack has started, when you start to breathe deeply, your chances of ending the panic attack increase. Another reason for experiencing shortness of breath during a panic attack is that intense anxiety is felt, so the chest, shoulder and neck muscles contract and tighten. In this case, the working capacity of the lung is restricted and breathing becomes difficult. In this case, the panic attack triggers more and the feeling increases. From this point of view, if we first correct our breathing technique, a great deal of loss will be lost in controlling panic attacks.
